Active Spine and Joint Center is unlike any other chiropractic or manual care center in the area. We offer an evidence-based, integrated approach to patient health care.
The rationale for employing an integrated health care approach, rather than following traditional chiropractic treatment programs, is based on clinical research. Each patient is unique, requiring equally distinctive treatment programs. While chiropractic adjustments are important, they are only one health care tool. Some patients need adjustments, others benefit from muscular manipulation, and a majority of our patients require a combination of joint manipulation, muscular therapy, and rehabilitation techniques.
The key to the evidenced based model of chiropractic care is to diagnose not only the symptoms you have, but also WHY you have them.
Example: Most often low back pain is coming from an injured disc (the cushion in between each of your vertebrae). If we identify you have a disc injury causing your pain, we must ask another more important question, ”WHY is your disc injured?”
At Active Spine and Joint Center, we take the time necessary to uncover the root cause of your painful syndrome, and then do what it takes to correct it.
Our physicians travel all across the nation training with the best physicians and researchers in the world. Their goal is to constantly strive to bring together an integrated model of the most current medical research and innovative treatment protocols.
We help our patients reach and exceed their health goals–performing better in life and sport. We serve as one of the few practices in the country to offer chiropractic manipulation, soft-tissue techniques, therapeutic rehabilitation, and dry needling. And, we’re growing–adding functional movement screenings, 3-D gait analysis using our state-of-the-art OptoGait system, and injury prevention / risk assessments.
